The People’s Improv Theater (PIT)

Improvised workshops and shows to keep your team bonded and laughing despite the distance!

One of our experienced improv instructors will guide your team through 60 minutes of creative, positive and fun team-building improv in a “virtual classroom” (ie. Zoom meeting!). Each participant will engage in the clearly explained exercises from the comfort of their own computers to create a one-of-a-kind experience for your team.

My Background

The PIT is dedicated to the instruction, performance, and development of original comedy. The PIT strives to entertain and educate the community about the comedic arts in a safe and nurturing environment.

The PIT is composed of three elements: a school that focuses on the craft of improvisation, an eclectic variety of electives, and an unparalleled professional writing program; a theater that presents original comedic shows seven nights a week; and a corporate and educational workshop program that offers team building, leadership, and business training.

The Setup For the Virtual Session

Each improv instructor leads these workshops from their own improvisational studios (read: home office). If there are more than 12 participants, we'll generally split into breakout rooms to maintain an optimal student:instructor ratio.

Cancellation Policy

As a customer if you cancel 48 hours after you have booked a session with a guide you will get a 50% refund. If you cancel before the 48 hours you receive your full refund. Customers also receive full refunds whenever a guide cancels

How to Experience Seshie

Please make sure you and your team members have Zoom downloaded. After you book a seshie in the confirmation email you will receive details providing the Zoom link and password information.
