Bring your Team Together over Board Games
Virtual Team Bonding (VTB) is an interactive, online board game experience designed to bring teams together with laughter and play!
With over six years of practical knowledge, we know which game mechanics and themes work best with the particular dynamics of professional groups. Expertly crafting engagement through Zoom, we use breakout groups with larger teams to maximize overall participation.
Each of our structured events is led by one or more trained Game Guides whose job it is to make sure the play experience is equitable and energized, which leaves everyone giving (virtual) high-fives and feeling awesome about their colleagues. Each event also includes a Kingmakers Tech Guide for overall support.
“Our team loved our seshie with Kingmakers! We're a new team working together, so the time gave us a good opportunity to relax, joke around, be a little competitive, and get to know each other. The game itself was a great balance of intellectually challenging but easy to pick up once we got going. We would definitely use Kingmakers again. ”
At Kingmakers, we've been facilitating high-quality play experiences for organizations and gatherings, both virtually and in person for over 6 years.
With a collection of over 500 games, we take our knowledge of board game themes, mechanics, and player dynamics to craft experiences for outcomes based on interpersonal growth, education (learning and teaching), and joy.
There is a wide and wonderful world of board games out there, and they provide the perfect structure to guide play in professional and group settings. When you work with us, you benefit from years of knowledge of board game mechanics, expert facilitation, and, most importantly, an empathetic approach to play.
Play can sometimes feel intimidating for adults and our goal is to always meet you where you are. We use board games for learning and growth, and of course, for fun.
What Team Members Should Bring
The Setup For the Virtual Session
Kingmakers Game Guides and Tech Guide(s) run events virtually from their home offices. Game Guides use multiple features of Zoom to create an engaging experience, from breakout rooms to screen sharing, annotating, polls, and other features. There is often a dedicated camera to the board game itself, showing all materials needed for the game itself. We recommend participants join from a computer or tablet, as opposed to a cell phone.
