Amazing Interactive True Crime Murder Mysteries!

Live in Theater (LIT) will host your team a truly fantastic and innovative murder mystery experience with Murder at River Crossing Book Club!

We will transport you all via Zoom into the fictionalized town of River Crossing Carolina. You will all play investigative reporters, and along with your “team”, you will meet and interrogate all of the suspects to help us discover what really happened last Friday night at the local Book Club.

Hello, and thank you for joining us for our newest adventure Murder in La La Land.
The Setting: 1950s La La Land (similar to Hollywood) during the Golden Age of Cinema. You know, Glamour, Glitz, Decadence, and in our case maybe murder!

As part of our experience, please:
Have Zoom installed on your device.
Have paper & writing paraphernalia handy
Dress in some fun 1950s way
Red lipstick and a curl will go a long way!
A wallop of pomade and a sharp part will make you look like a leading man!
Pour yourself a martini or a cold glass of milk!

Now, let’s catch you up to speed:

Your Roles: You will all play employees /colleagues and a crucial part of the “backstage” production teams at Summit Pictures.
On show day you will be randomly preassigned as a member of one of these six departments
Wardrobe
Hair & Makeup
Security
Set Builders
Catering
P.A (Production Assistants)

Picture it...You’ve completed your set design, maybe you’ve just finished adding rhinestones to the collar of an evening gown, maybe you’ve gotten the bouffant wig just right, maybe you finally locked all doors and windows on your rounds, maybe you’re done preparing tomorrow's menu… whatever the case you’re wrapping up your long eight-hour workday, and now you get your lunch pail out of your locker cause you wanna get the hell out of dodge!

Suddenly, one of your co-worker's whispers in your ear that there’s an impromptu meeting. Everyone is to head to the gate and wait for the big man himself, Barney Blam Summit Pictures president, and your boss. There are whispers “don't draw too much attention to yourself” “Act cool!” “Look casual for heaven's sake!” And one more thing even if you don’t typically have too much interaction with the big boss Barney...don’t even think about being late, all of your jobs are on the line!
